Sub wiring diagram

Hello All, I am trying to locate a wiring diagram for the plug that goes to factory X5 subwoofer. If anyone has it or knows where I can find it I would greatly appreciate. Thanks Comanche

If these guys are asking. What wires should you tap into for a sub like my JL W7 then I'm in to I really want to know this.

I just installed a JL 500.1 amp and W6 sub over the weekend. I removed one of the subs and they look to be dual voice coil subs. Anyway, there is an 8-wire connector under the trim piece on the right side by the sub box. You need to remove the carpeted piece and then there is a plastice piece that removes with a 10mm socket. I have the cargo floor, so it may be slightly different. I completely disconnected it and used the top 4 connections for the low-level convertor. If I remember correctly, the brown wires were negative. I'm planning on cleaning up the wiring tonight, I'll take some pictures.

You can find some basic information on cable colors leading from the DSP amp to the speakers at the following URL http://www.janixworld.com/x5/Stereo/DSP.html

Maybe it's of some help,

Is there any easy way where I can connect my 1000/1 JL amp and my 12" W7. As in for example just tap into 2subwoofer wires or something. OR is there any basic information on how i should hook up my amp to my car.

I did pull the system out of my 330xi. It seemed like the amp wirres were connected to the stock subs.

So please help me out Im tryin to do a DYI and basically wondering if it is hard?

Thank you very much.

(I know u have to hook up your amp and capacitor to the battery)

But then can you tap into the stock subs and have the bass comin out of there to your amp?

OR how does it work..?
