Got the double DIN all in finially!
 

Well i finially finished installing the D2, i got the bezel in a few days ago and put the unit in a month ago and so far im loving it! I just moved to florida and this thing has been a life saver i recomend this mod to everyone! here are a few pics.

Looks really good. I am debating whether to do the Nuiv route or go all out and do exactly what you did

Could I ask you how much your total setup cost? And, if you did the install, how tough was it?

I got a refurbished D1 so that was 600$
Then i got riches bezel so tat was lik $260 i think with shipping
Got wiring kit which was like 15
antenna adapter 5
then two 3 was crossovers (if you have DSP) 30$
and 45 foot of speaker wire (and it still wasnt enough i recomend 60 ft) like 20 bucks

so total was about 950$ not to bad, and i installed it my self if you have a standard system its not tat bad if you have DSP is where it gets tricky finding all the wires to tap into fo the different speakers and what not

Where did you get the D1

ebay, and it came with a warentee from pioneer. If you do a search for AVIC D1 on ebay youll find them thiers really only one guy that sells them and thats who i got it from i think buy it nows are like 600$ or so
