X5 is ok, the e46 would require Navigation for that connector (12-pin).

thanks Tom, would that fit on the head unit or on the video module?
I'm trying to figure out what "line out" would be useful for....

Thanks again tom.

It turned up today, it has a small black plug which allegedly fits in to the back of the radio.
This unit is for my M3 with nav, how hard is it to remove the nav scren to have a looksee?

PS Tom...i'm off to FL later this week and I need a few bits and pieces from you so it may be easier to ship then there rather than the UK?

Your radio is in the boot area on the driver's side, the NAV screen is only a monitor. We can ship to you in the states or UK - whichever you prefer. :)

I just guessed it would be easier/cheaper to ship to FL:thumbup:

I had a quick look in the boot and the tv tuner and radio module and amp are side by side, the tv being the closest then the radio in the centre.

I cant see a spare socket on the radio tuner ???

I have mono sound in to the tv tuner (mono) but this only plays when the tv is on and av channel is selected.

Did any paperwork or instructions come with the piece? This should plug into the right hand side of the radio tuner.

Do you have a camera you can take some closeup shots of the connector with? You can email me directly at [email protected].
