Grounding the Dice HD Antenna

Where can i ground the HD antenna? I was looking at ncx's pics and I have routed the antenna along the A-pillar to the sunvisor. I unscrewed the sunvisor, but I still don't know where to attach that silver piece...and for that matter...how do you attach that silve piece?

Thanks

I use the a-pillar retaining screw. This will give a very good ground. Alternative point would be the sun visor screw.

Yep, pillar screw or visor screw will be a fine ground. I used the visor screw and it was very easy. I routed the ground wire to the visor mounting location, scratched up the screw hole so I saw shiny bare metal, and tightened the visor screw down on to the metal strap. Worked great.

You mean the ground strap? Tie around the screw? Yes that would work but I just wrapped the strap up under the screw at kind of a u-shape to get as much metal-to-metal contact as I could, then tightened it down firmly.

This will work. :)
