Problem with Dice unit
 

I just received my DIce unit (I-BMW-T) and I can't get any sound out of it.

I have a ipod Video with the right firmware, Version 1.2.1, and I can control the ipod, so I can see the ipod changing playlists or track but no sound what so ever.

I check the volume on the ipod and it's ok, the head unit will play the radio or cd but when I change to the DICE, no sound.

The car is a 2005 e53 X5 with DSP but I have the 3 and 6 pin connector in the back. There is no fiber or coax line.

all 4 dip switch on the Dice unit are set to position 1 All up so I assume in the off position

Can you help me out ?

Did you have a CD Changer in the vehicle before and did you purchase the vehicle used? We've seen a handful of MY05 X5s with Digital DSP, although it is rare.

Try another iPod to verify, or we can have the module tested for you.
