AM Radio not allowing me to tune into us
 

How do you get into the menu setup to get the radio to play US Freq. for am stations. I know this topic has been covered but i have not been able to find the post...thanks in advance for all info...

Do you have a Business CD or Navigation-equipped X5?

Can you give more details, like which X5 do you have (E53 or E53)? What is the model year and build date of your car? Is the car US-spec or Euro-spec? Do you have navigation or standard audio? Did you do any retrofits or upgrades to the radio; if so, which part numbers did you use?

Here's the fix:

1. Turn Radio Off.
2. Turn Radio On.
3. Press and hold the "m" button for about 10 seconds.
4. Press < or > to navigate and + or - to change settings. May also need to press certain Preset buttons to change settings as well.
5. When you see Euro, change it to USA.
6. Turn radio off to exit.

This should get you back on the road.
