Where to buy denison gateway 300 ?
 

Anyone know of someone in the US (pref web site) that sells the denison gateway 300 ? their page shows distributor in canada (that's ok nothing against knuks) but was hoping for something closer. Also anyone have experience with this unit ? can't tell the difference between it and gateway 500

The 500 is for MOST bus cars, the 300 is for iBus cars.

I've heard quite a lot of reports of unreliability with the Gateway 300, particularly the iPod side, and of very poor customer support. But people who don't have problems say the USB interface is pretty good.

I have a 06 x5 nav with dsp , from what I've read it looks like I can use the 300 but was also interested in cd changer retention. As I understand it with the retention I have full control of my cd changer via steering whell controls but get to add an ipod into the mix?

Also wondered about price for these items as I am comparing solutions available.

I am not sure about text support and things like that we mainly use Dension for there Gateway 500 peice. the way you will need to buy the set up is

CD Retention Harness-$70.00
Ipod Cable or Cradle- $50.00

shipping would be $10.00

I have an 03 4.6is with nav, cd changer with dsp but no tv. i would like the capability of the dension gateway 500 (video usb ipod and external aux input). will that be compatible with my unit. if not what is the closest you can recommend.
