It's obviously an older article, but it DID lead me to current bid prices on Ebay...

There's nothing "stealth" about the Basslink, from what I can see (pun intended) ;) It looks like the same design as 4-5 years ago. It still has to sit in the cargo area with all the wires running to it. Stealth to me means that it sits in one of the rear side compartment like the BSW or JL Audio solution. You cannot stuff the Basslink in the rear side compartment by any means.

ZC Stealth Sub System
I ran a Basslink for about 6 months until I fab'd my own setup. I was not that disappointed with the Basslink. However I do agree with dkl - it is a bit muddy.
I found that I used the cargo area quite a bit, so space was at a premium. The system I have now does a pretty good job so I'm satisfied. Here is my ZC stealth setup: http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...installed.html http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...DSC01287_1.jpg |
Yup, dk, "stealth" means the same thing to me... if yer interested, I'll try to find the other link I first came across the other day - showed a Basslink 2 installed IN the right side compartment, same as the BSW install... 'guess it musta been a custom mod... thanks fer th' add ZC...saw your article/link the other day...lots 'o work !!! ...guess I'll wait to hear back from Halston at BSW, "see" (worse pun intended!) what he can do fer me price-wise...
