Having trouble with DICE w/ HD kit

Bought and installed the kit in December. I am able to play 1 or 2 songs before it disconnects. The message on the BMW display is "Detached". The iPod, of course, is not detached. I remove and replace the iPod, same result. I remove the iPod for a period of time and replace, same result. Is there some setting that I am missing? At times it has been able to play for more than a couple of songs.

The DICE is not seeing the iPod. Disconnect the iPod andrReboot by pressing on MENU and CENTER buttons for +5 seconds and then reconnecting to the DICE cable after the reboot process is completed.

What generation and firmware version are you using on your iPod?

I will try that. I have a 4th Gen Nano running version 1.3.1.
