E53 DSP sound issues on left side

Hi

A friend of mine owns a 2002 E53 (3.0d if it matters) with nav and DSP. The sound system works but only on the right side of the car , absolutely no sound on the left one.

What could be the issue ?

front/rear regulations ? :)
