Price Increase for BSW Speaker Set
 

Hi:

I have been waiting for my tax rebate to get BSW speaker set for my X5. Unfortunately the price has increased. I believe it was $499 a few months ago and it's now $599. Does anybody know if this is due to weak US dollar or supply and demand or the speaker itself is now better?

The Stage 1 for the X5 allong with many other systems have increased in price is due to a few factors.

1. We've upgraded the tweeter that is included with this kit to a full 1" silk dome, it used to be .75" silk dome tweeter.

2. Our drivers are built by Rainbow in Germany, and they're priced in Euros which have greatly increased in value compared to the US dollar.

3. Shipping has increased due to the increase in oil prices.

These are the main reasons that have caused our Stage1 prices to increase. But since you are a forum member I'll be happy to give you a discount.

Hi when is that E70 kit coming out.. I'm hanging out for it..!!:wow: any firmer ETA..Spring is almost over in the US isn't it ? :p
