Origional TV antenna

Well, what inside the antennas... did some one open up and check?
Can't be much inside those plastic boxes.
I'm about to install a DVB-t box in my e-39 and dont really want to spend the money on something that you most probably can make your self.

Original antenna is the copper wire printed on the rear window.

the little black box is the antenna amplifier.

Will work fine for DVB-T. Make sure the DVB-T tuner can feed the amplifier 12V power.

Ok convinced. But is there someone who knows the design inside these 2 plastic after market option antennas.

Original TV antennas are located in rear bumper - in left and right side

Hi Ika.
The position I know, what Im interested in is what's inside those 2 boxes.

some type of signal amplifier and filter. You can use aftermarket TV antennas, which works better - I think.
