Ford steering wheel radio controls
I've considered upgrading the factory stereo in my '02 Excursion which has a double din. I was interested in replacing it with the Pyle PLDTVN65.
http://akamai.edeal.com/images/catal.../img634110.jpg My chief concern is that its possible that I would loose the steering wheel pushbuttons which controls the volume and advances the CD audio tracks. Is there a modification available that would make these functions work with the upgraded system? Thanks in advance, Tim |
Tim,
Note that this is a site that is primarily geared towards the BMW X5 and X3, so most of the expertise and information you will find here is associated with those vehicles. You might want to try a Google search, such as this to find an interface that you are looking for. I think they are out there, you just need to determine which one works with your particular vehicle. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search :goodluck: |

it can be done easily and not too much $ considering the benefits. :) |
There is a company that sells interfaces to keep OEM functions. I believe its PAC electronics.

Yes, but it doesn't work with the Pyle.
The Pyle is a low end piece and I wouldn't recommend doing it... |
