Where to pick up a source for bass amp?

Hi everybody.
First, I don't have a X5, but a 320Cd E46 from 2005 with MKIV Nav system and Harman/Kardon audio.

i want to know, is there a difference between Harman/Kardon audio system and the BSW audio system?

In my previous car i was a double 36' sub with a hard instalation and i waqnt to re use only one 36' phoenix gold for my BMW. Because the Harman/Kardon begin to made some vibration in my door etc, I want to lowest the bass level on it and leave the job to my subwoofer.

Ok it's cool but I need some help. Where can i pick up the sound to input in my amp?I know that all is in the back of the vehicle, but i don't know where to look.

So, i need a source to pick up the sound to enter in my amp with cinch, can you help me?

Thanks in advance

1. Here is an install guide for our e46 subwoofer system. That should help you find the signal.

2. Our Stage 1 is a very clean and balanced audio improvement over the factory system and can be compared in clarity to many after-market systems. It sounds great when paired with a sub system as it is a clarity upgrade and not designed to increase mid-bass, but most component systems aren't designed to add bass.
With the Stage 1 you will replace your plastic tweeters and paper and foam surround midbass/midrange with silk-dome tweeters and treated kevlar/fiberglass blend midbass drivers with rubber surrounds. So it is also an improvement in durability, as well as sound quality.

Ok thanks for the informations.
Harman/Kardon give me a very good sound in the mid/high frequency, but when I push the sound at a high level, the bass "crack", and the plastic of the car vibrate, I don't like that.
So I just want to add some more bass with a subwoofer (phoenix gold X-max 15") and filter the Harman/Kardon system.
Thank for you infomration, now I am able to do waht I want ;-)
