Stand alone computer in X5
 

Hello All,

I'm thinking about setting up a stand alone computer with touch screen monitor in my 03 E53. Has anyone played around with this? Does anyone have any suggestions.........

When you say stand alone computer do you mean for engine management?

It sounds like you mean you want a double din NAV/Touchscreen?

Sorry, just the wording you use makes me think of 2 different devices.

Thanks for getting back to me. Actually I currently have OEM nav, what I'm looking for is a seperate system that I use data base management, wifi access........ similar to a home PC only smaller cpu/monitor.

So you need a carputer of sorts?

Did you want it to run through your OEM NAV system? IE the NAV screen is your computer monitor?
