OEM ipod interface Vs Bravian interface?
I was wondering what the difference is between the OEM BMW ipod interface and the Bravian interface? and would the BMW dealer install the Bravian adapter?
thanks |
I can't say that I have heard of the Bravian interface. Do you have a link to it with more details?
Personally, I think the OEM interface is poor at best. The DICE Silverline is a very good unit, and if you have navigation then I also recommend that you look at the Intravee-II. |
i am not sure if its the Bravian, and yes i do have Navigation. The one i saw has hold up to 4 or 5 play list as long as i name it BMW1 BMW2 BMW3 etc etc.. anyone have any suggestion? and where can i get it installed at?

DICE and Intravee-II are very much a DIY install, and you are not limited by the number of playlists you are able to access.

i have worked on my wrx a few times, but i prefer not to mess with my navigation or pulling anything apart on my x5. I wonder if my dealer would install it? i was looking at the intraveeII, so i have to get both the alpine unit and the intravee unit?

k thanks, i have another question, i notice that on my BMW somtimes the music goes up and down why does it do this? it annoys the hell out of me. I would have it set to a certain volume i want, and all of a sudden, the volume automatically goes down, then like 15-20 seconds later it comes back up. what gives?
