CD changer help
i bought an OEM cd changer for my 2000 X5, my X5 has Navi and DSP.. the question is where is the cable that connects to the CD changer.. i found the small plug but i cannot find the big plug that on the bottom of the changer... is it being used for something else or is my X5 not have it?

On a 2000 X5 with DSP you have the small plug (3 pins for 12V, ground and i-bus) and the other connection is a coax cable.
is there any way i can convert the coax cable to the 6 pin by using a converter?
Not that I am aware of. Why not just use the coax connection?
i have the same problem.how can i use the coax connection?and what is the coax connection?
ok i found that you can use the coax(DSP) on the CD changer and thats what i used instead i didnt see that i had one tucked away.
mitsos587- if you have DSP in your X, you will have an extra long thin cable or coax thats attached to the DSP amp. http://www.europeanautosource.com/im..._inspectX5.jpg http://www.europeanautosource.com/im...inspecte39.jpg |
