Has anyone tried KBMWSIRV2 for Sirius?
I was about to purchase the OEM BMW Sirius kit for my '03, which runs about $600, when I found the KBMWSIRV2 kit from tss-radio.com which claims to do the same thing for $180. This is a SoundGate product that interfaces through the cd changer to allow control of a Kenwood Sirius module...I'm sure there's a difference, but I was hoping someone had some experience.

Go with OEM. The KBMWSIRV2 kit does not display artist information, radio station name, and song name on your oem headunit. You'll see something like CD2-10 (meaning station 210). Check out the mfr's spec right here: http://www.tss-radio.com/images/soundgate_kbmw.pdf Of course if you don't care about that then $180 gets the job done.

That's probably why no one has it! I'll stick with OEM.
