need help installing intravee ipod adapter

So after weeks of contemplating which ipod setup to go with I decided on the Intravee because everyone who has on absolutely loves it.

The Intravee website has detailed instructions on the setup but I was not able to locate the CD changer cables. I currently do not have a changer but I do have an MK4 nav. Is it possible that the changer cables are not there? I was under the impression that all the x5 have the changers cables already in place.
:dunno:

Try to search in the area around the MKIV. You should find two connectors wrapped together. (3 pin and 6 pin)

You can also ask for help in this forum http://www.intravention.co.uk/forum/

Thanks Essam. I'll check that out. Did you get your bumper repaired?

Yes everything has been repaired :)
Still some paint job and she will be ready on Saturday.

Good job on the Intravee. I had a DICE and switched to the Intravee. Dice is junk compared to it. ENJOY and hope you get it figured out!

Radelow,

thanks . some people have said that it's possible the chnager wire was removed by the previous owner. others seem to think it may be tucked behind the liner. Was your chnager cable visible when you installed your intravee?

Yes mine was visible. But that is only because my car was equipped with a CD Changer that I removed when I initially installed the DICE. I find it very very unlikely the PO removed the cable. It's there somewhere. Just remove the trim stuff around it and search for it. GOOD LUCK!
