You need the trunk interface kit w/ DSP converter. You have an option to choose between the Docking Cable or Active Cradle as well, most people choose the docking cable for a 100% stealth install.

I am thinking of going down this route. Iwant the stealth instal but if there is no cragle what stops the i pod flying around the X5 when driving hard ?

Any pics of the ipod installed in different places.

The iPod can go inside the Center Console or the Glovebox - nothing is really given the chance to slide around.
