Dension icelink help (from X5 to E46)
 

Just purchased a 2003 M3 with Navigation, and wondering if my old icelink from my 2003 X5 (without nav) should work ?

I've installed the icelink & I can play the 1-5 playlist, but when I press #6 to access the menu, it just briefly blink on me and nothing happened.

Does anyone know any trick to try and solve this issue ?

I am not 100% positive on the oldest icelink but what would disc 6 being trying to access? Text display?

the screen shows cdc-06 and nothing else....

For example, when I press any number 1 through 5, the ipod play the first 5 playlist. When I pressed on number 6, the sound halted for one sec the screen blink, and nothing changes.

I think my icelink isnt that old :) I bought it in 2005 for my X5, and decommissioned it around 2007 because I sold my car.
