Icelink and DSP project
Hi
I've just bought a 2004 3.0D sport (UK spec) it has Nav, but no DSP or bluetooth. I am in the process of fitting an Icelink +, which means I lose the CD (I think!!). I have also just obtained a DSP amp and a sub on it's way (thanks Eugene), so my next project is to fit this. Will this be affected by the Icelink, or Vice Versa? Also, will the stock speakers work with the DSP setup? And finally, does anyone have the part number for the DSP amp to Nav tuner lead/loom? Thanks Dave |

Hi Tom,
I have a 2001 X5 3.0i with DSP, i'm planning to buy an Icelink Plus and from all the posts, it looks like I will need a DSP converter as well? Does this converter just supply the second 6pin connection plug that's needed at the CD changer end? I'm a little confused because of this thread, isn't it just an extra cnnection needed with DSP? http://www.xoutpost.com/showarticle-115.html How much is the adapter delivered to WA? Do you have any Icelinks remaining as well? Thanks! |
if you X5 is early production, 2002 and before, you need the DSP adapter.
