Speaker sizes

Hi Gang,

I'm trying to figure out the size of all of the speakers in my X3. Can anyone help me out? I've been searching the net for over an hour with no luck. I do not have Premium Sound.

Thanks!

There has been a number of posts on this subject here. Some of the sizes are odd ball. Check some of the past post from el duderino. As far as I can tell the non-DSP (premium) system uses the same drivers for the doors and dash but does not include the sub-woofer. It takes some time to compile the info but it is here.

I still haven't hooked up with the X3 owner in our building, let me try again...

Yeah I did a search on a lot of sites and forums last night... no luck.

If anyone comes up with anything, please post it here. It should be helpful to a lot of people.

I am after the same info for my E34 325ci

As well as amp setup, I want to upgrade that but in a minor way as it seems, looking at some of the speakers that even changing just the ones on the back parcel shelf could make a big difference...
