Dice unit nav not showing song name

Hi.

I've had an dice unit installed for about 1,5 years now, but i never got it to work quite as it should..

There is no problem playing songs, or changing between playlists, albums or artists using the nav display.

But if i choose to show the song name on the nav unit via cd06, and i switch off the ignition, the song name is not showing in the nav anymore.? I then have to use cd6 to get the song info back.

In fact, if i enter the gps menu, or change the display to show something other then the cd1 through 6 display, the song info will be gone when going back to the cd display.

In some rare occasions, the song name is still showing even after i have turned ignition off and back on. I can not replicate the circumstances when this occures, because im not sure what makes it remember it at times.

I have a retrofitted 4:3 display nav unit, and a low cluster. Im almost certain this has something to about it. I was first thinking maybe the constant power supply was cut off when i turned off ignition, but since the bas, treble settings are still set, im not so sure.

Anyone have any good ideas.?

I think there is another guy on the site with the same problem, zilverz he calls himself. Dont know if he has a retrofitted nav too though..

This is the silverline kit.
