installed custom JL 13tw5 & 500/1 in box
 

I have an 05 with DSP and I could not find anywhere to install the JL Audio 500/1 amp nor the 13tw5 driver. I built a custom box for the driver and attached the amp to the underside and painted it black. I attached the power with quick connect molex connectors so I could remove the sub easily if I needed to. The amp has auto sensing input to turn it on.

I guess if you don't have anything nice to say dont say anything at all :S

If you use No-Flat tires you can remove your spare and locate that contraption in the spare tire well, so it's out of site. Typically I hate to see these things in a luxury BMW, it just doesn't fit in and it defaces your X5's value.

Doesn't really deface if it is 100% removable and properly done. I have the BSW stealthbox for now, but in the future if the DSP amp goes out I will properly install a full system...
