Time and date+aftermarket deck?

hey guys i have a BMW Business CD Premium with DSP.
To set my time and date , i do it via the stock deck.
I have plans to get the pioneer D1.
So what will it show on the OBC on the cluster for the time and date?...will it be a problem?

Also... can you make the steering wheel volume and track buttons work iwth a aftermarket?

thanks!!

It will show the date and time that is currently set. It's only a problem if you ever need to change the date or time, or if you disconnect the battery (in which case it will not show any date or time)
