Factory Amp Upgrade?

My factory non-DSP, non-NAV amplifier stopped working. A replacment amp is upwards of $400. Is there an "easy" aftermarket amp solution that wouldnt require extensive re-wiring? For less than $400 I could get a pretty powerful upgraded amp set-up...

After hours of searching it seems it just isnt worth the hassle. The factory amp has built in crossovers to each speaker.

Probably a good choice. You can get a used replacement on eBay for under $50.

Though... if you enjoy music, it could be a springboard for a substantial improvement. The non-DSP amp is relatively underpowered and does not have much bass. You could buy a moderate 5 channel amplifier and a couple pairs of door speakers (with crossovers) to totally change the system. The cost would be on the order of $600, but the quality would be a world of difference.
