Need Urgent HELP - AUX Install

Ok, so I'm doing the AUX install and I have SteveD's writeup. I have the NAV screen out, and I'm trying to fish the wire down to the glovebox, but I can't seem to do it. Can anyone help me out? Any tips?

Thanks alot,
Jared

Are you routing the connector in the glove box?

I have my installed in the ashtray, so if you haven't drilled the hole into the glove box yet, or even if you have, that might be a better place to install the aux input. Just pop out the plastic piece that lets the light through into the tray. It's a much more convenient place to have the aux input.

I almost did this, and still wonder if I should have. The only reason I put my AUX input jack in the "standard" location in the glove box is that I wondered what to do with the patch cord. When in use, the cord would be lying in the way. When not in use, you would have to unplug it and shove it back into the glove box.

Exactly why I left mine in the Glovebox especially as the Belkin power/iPod connector I used to use was plugged into the 12V receptacle under the Glovebox.
