icelink and XM
Can anyone help me?
I have a 2004 X5 3.0 without NAV. Can I install icelink for ipod and XM commander in it? |
How does the XM commander interface with the X5? The IceLink uses the CD changer interface.
|
I read that it uses a device called blitzsafe to interface with the radio.

Don't get the XM Commander. Get XM Direct here. I have this unit, and it works great. I don't have an Icelink/iPod setup, but it should work. Note this from MyRadioStore.com (the link above):

After your help, I went and bought the icelink plus. It played but when I press CD 6, I don't get a menu as noted in the manual. It showed CD and track numbers. No text display at all. Please help

Is there no product to give us XM with ID3 text on NAV screen?
