Lock driver door?
 

How do you lock the driver door?
I have all the screws undone.
I have the pathway light off.
I have the window regulators off.

yet, the driver door won't lock so I can remove the door panel.

Anyone know a way to get the small door lock to go flush against the panel to be able to remove it?

When I took out the door panel I just cautiously pulled it towards me a bit then pushed it upward to clear the door lock.

Okay, I'll try that right now, any tips?

I think if you insert a screwdriver into the door latch and close the rotating latch you can lock the door.

Okay I got the top part unclipped.

Now it's still like stuck in th emiddle. I removed the door handle trim and undid that screw. It's still not coming off.

I found out that the door pin is part of the door panel, so there's no need to have the door lock flush :)

Haha, no it's not. I got the door panel 'off'

I need to unhook to door latch now.

Any ideas on how to get the door latch off? The only thing I see is to actually unbolt the door handle.

Didn't need to unbolt anything.
That latch just comes off.

So I've insulated the driver front door.
I had a food break in between. Sounds fantastic so far for considering I've spent 6$ total! :D

Gargh. Again, I can't get the rear drivers side panel off!

Can you post pics once you're done with all the insulation work.

Oops, I didn't take any pictures, I totally forgot!

What I did was to take off my front door panel, and cut up a little bit of the black foam to insert some cotton balls in it and put my hand threw, and squeeze the cotton balls into parts where the black foam was touching the door panel.

Most of my rattles, weren't rattle but vibrations because of the black foam. :)

How did you get the rear door off?

Holy crap I think I am going to kill someone.
I think I found out why the entire door panel is coming off, but not.

What I mean is, there is one clip (copper ish looking?) which connects the door to the door panel, and it's too hard to reach to to squeeze, and on top of that, I can't reach it from the bottom so that's out of hte quetion.

I need a flame thrower.

I got it off.
I just yelled a lot and twisted it in various fashions.
