Rear Door Speakers Help Please
Greetings,
My rear door speakers went out. All other speakers are working fine including the tweeters. Took the vehicle to Best Buys and was told by one of their installers that my problem could be some channels dead on the AMP. Dude tried to rope me into a $30 for the first half hour and $15 for each additional 15 minutes thereafter. How can I perform this test myself or is there another route to test if is the channels on the AMP? Non-DSP system. Any help would greatly be appreciated. |
do a search for the speaker outputs wires from the amp, and use a meter to see if any output is coming from the meter. I also assume you have checked the fader...

I had exact the same thing. I took the amp apart, cleaned it, used allot of contact spray in the unit and the plugs, reassebled the thing and problems solved.
This saved me allot of $$$ for now. Good luck! |

I have checked the fader and have not had time to check outputs yet. Thanks for replying. |
