Icelink Plus Question
 

I have just installed the Icelink Plus to my X5 with standard Business CD using an ipod nano.

The sound is absolutely fine, can switch through playlists etc. BUT I cannot seem to be able to get the 'CD6' menu for some reason.

When I press CD6 it seems to be changing the ipod to repeat mode.

Any help would be appreciated!

CD6 is used to enter the configuration mode for the IceLink, not for a 6th playlist.

Thanks for the very quick response - much appreciated. That document looks very useful - will give that a try.

I realise that pressing CD6 should enter the configuration mode, my problem is that it is not entering configuration mode when I am pressing CD6 for some reason.

Now sorted ... I had to download a file called 'BMW_Text_Nothing.mp3' and run that on my ipod & link the cable so that it updated the icelink.
So I now have access to the configuration menu when I press CD6!!

What software version are you running n your Ice link ?

Thanks, I'm really impressed with the icelink now I've got it working. Sound quality is very good, all in all excellent value for money.
