Speakers muffled on right side? Help
 

Ok i have an 05 x5 4.4. It has the Nav, cd, dsp radio in it. I spent some time searching the forum for the problem and went looking for it this morning based on threads in here. I got to the amp and checked the plugs, they were all clean. Removed tire and got to all the connectors in the battery compartment and everything is hooked and there is no sign of water or corrosion in there. was unable to get the speakers working properly. some sound comes out but it's not correct. what should be my next move? i was not sure which mod. was the radio one but i check plugs on all of them and it was all good. there is sound coming out of right side speakers so i have to assume the radio is sending the signal?

Pulled the BM53 amp amd sent it out for repair. We will see how it goes, i will keep you informed.

You sent out the BM53 or you sent out the DSP amp? Have you tried "toneing" the speakers in question from the harness at the amp?
