I wish I would of discovered it when it first came out. only really discovered it last year.

Yeah, really unfortunate about Simon. Richard has been a good source of info though as he knows this stuff inside and out. Hopefully things will be maintained so we don't lose all this knowledge.

Hey waffles, I just finished an extensive overhaul of my X-5's audio system and incorporated the intravee. Depending on what your trying to get out of the system I'd keep it pretty basic and go with the pxa--h100 over the 701/800 options. I run the 701 but I have a 3 way active front stage and 2-way passive rear fill with a sub. The system works great but it's a little tricky to get it setup. If you use the nav/bluetooth on a regular basis I'd suggest keeping the stock audio and maybe adding a sub. You can simply put cap's inline with your current 6" midbass speakers to eliminate bass distortion. If your factory system has the subwoofer that's already being done actively by the dsp amp. Here's what my rear compartment looks like and my rux controller mounted in the stock ashtray holder after install:

guys this is great inspiration!
I think all I want to do is add a sub...will investigate the best way to get a 'line out' of the BM53 I upgraded to from C23.

Curious as to what your settings ended up being. I have done a number of auto tunes, but the bass is always so low. So, I tricked it the last time by lowering the amp gain pre-test, then turning the amp gain up until the bass was at the levels I preferred (though I never quite got it *just right* yet). Curious what you have been able to achieve through manual setup.

If you already have the stock 'sub', just tap those lines, add a line out controller and an amp(s), and of course your sub(s).

just curious if someone could change all different setting on our cars like window down with one push, etc with Intravee if do not have factory navigation installed?
