Hey waffles, I just finished an extensive overhaul of my X-5's audio system and incorporated the intravee. Depending on what your trying to get out of the system I'd keep it pretty basic and go with the pxa--h100 over the 701/800 options. I run the 701 but I have a 3 way active front stage and 2-way passive rear fill with a sub. The system works great but it's a little tricky to get it setup. If you use the nav/bluetooth on a regular basis I'd suggest keeping the stock audio and maybe adding a sub. You can simply put cap's inline with your current 6" midbass speakers to eliminate bass distortion. If your factory system has the subwoofer that's already being done actively by the dsp amp.
