USB cable to factory radio?

so i'm seeing a lot of these USB cables on ebay saying that it will fit the x5 etc. but where would i even plug this in?? i don't see anything like this on the e53 radio. maybe its on the cd player? or in the trunk? help. i really want a USB jack in the car.

one connector is a USB... type A female?

the other one... that is a mystery - i dug around a lot of wires in the E53 - never saw this type of a connector
