Update on V27 for BMW NA
 

My service rep Gary from Crevier told me that they have not heard anything on V27 yet. He'll keep me updated. Also, found out that my X5 is NOT part of the ignition coil recall either (neither is the M3).

I'm expecting to have V27 available to the X5world members by the weekend. If anyone has a custom X5world splash screen that they would like to see made available, please post it here and I'll take the best of the best and see if I can incorporate it into the new release.

Just spoke to the folks over at South Bay BMW.
They told me that I need to bring the car in to check versions (oh, great).
Nonetheless, I am going to take it in to see what happens.

Does anyone have a part number for the new CD that I can make reference to?

As I said over in http://www.xoutpost.com/109560-post40.html, the part number doesn't change when a new version comes out, so ordering this part (at least at locations served by the BMW NA warehouses) will get you V26 at this time.

yeh when creating the download can you just make it normal none of this custom stuff I want it all to be just standard :) Oh and create the link like you did for the orginal version of V26 Oh and then lock the thread so it's not taken up with whole load of junk replies and oh h'mm that should do it I reckon.:) :)

Hey, X5World Splash Screen would be awesome, but knowing Ucrew, he'll release the "standard" splash screen and of course, different ones with different splash screen. I know SuperGreg wants his "special" splash screen. Otherwise, it will be available at your dealer soon! :)

Is it possible to get a "toggle-mode" for the "new" perspective-switch. I mean toggling between 3D-pointing north and 3D-car-direction. Would this be an problem?
