Navigation Weirdness
1 Attachment(s)
Here is a shot from a trip I just got back from. I realize that this shot shows me off a digitized road and hence is probably generating the message. I drove several times into downtown Staunton, VA, which is clearly digitized on the CD's and that same error message came up, on and off, throughout my travels. Any ideas?

What you are seeing occurs when the street you are on is not in the Navteq database. You can go to the Navteq web site and identify the area and they will incorporate this into the future releases of the nav disks.

There could have been antennae interference.
If it works where it usually works this should be no biggie. |
Yeah, it seems like it was interference, as it was somewhat unprecistable and came off and on. I worked as expected on the 500 miled drive back to ATL.

I guess the thought was that it didn't announce "You are not on a digitized road" that threw me.
