Eclipse AVN5435 in 2001 X5
Hey everyone, I am trying to install an AVN5435 into my 2001 X5 and don't know how to do the speed pulse connection. I have searched and searched and can't find anything. Does anyone know how to tie into this on a BMW?
Thanks, Jeff |

Has anyone used: 9 for Backup signal 10 for speed signal And if they have signal from the factory on a build date of 11/2000? |
Very easy if your 01 is the same as my 00. I'm almost positive that its a black/white wire. The wire can be found from one of the harness behind the headunit. Let me know and I will pull out my headunit and take a closer look. Rob

Don't go and pull anything apart, but do you remember if it was in the main radio harness?

I'm not sure It's in main harness but it's one of the connects behind the radio. If you get stuck let me and I'll pull it out, it's not a big deal.
