Screen Scratches

Whats the best way to possibly get rid of the scratches or reduce the apperance of the scratches on the screen?

Sorry I don't have a response, but I had a somewhat related question - does anyone know of anyway to reduce dust buildup on the screen? I live in a really dusty area, and every few days there's a thin layer of dust on my screen that makes it hard to read when in direct sunlight.

I believe you can buy a sheet of protective film...the same stuff that you would apply to a PDA or cell phone screen. Just peel and stick it will protect the screen from scratches. You should be able to buy it at any computer or cell phone accessory store. As far as the dust buy a can of "dust off" and give it a spray every day. You can aso buy dust off at computer stores.

I was thinking of those screen protector sheets, but wasn't sure if they either a) damaged the screen, or b) made it hard to read because of glare - I'll check it out. :)

Screen Patronus makes a film that fits perfectly. They also make it for cell phones and PDA's.

I have one for the X, it doesn't cut the glare that much from the sun, but it will protect from scratches. I also have one on my Motorola SLVR to protect the screen.
