POI duplicate suppression

I've noticed that my Nav has a duplicate-suppression algorithm, apparently because the POI data provided on the Navteq DVD are not very "clean". Anyway, this is affecting my speed camera POI, as only one is showing when there are multiple cameras.

Anyone found a way yet to tweak how close POI must be to one another for them to be considered duplicates? Is this setting in the software or on the map DVD?

It depends what scale you have the Map set to. You really have to be at the 125 yard scale to be sure of seeing all the cameras.

Even at 125yds it's not showing them all. This also true for Navteq supplied POI

Agreed. I have also noticed this, but it doesn't always seem to happen.

I pass a cam site regularly (with a red light cam and a bit further on a speed cam) and sometimes they both show, sometimes only one icon shows. I am always at 125yds.

Very odd.
