Navigation Computer Read Error
 

hi all,

my mk4 navigation unit had a read error earlier today.
when i finally got to my destination i ejected the disc and re inserted it, and now all i am getting is "no cd/dvd inserted please check"
it has been working fine for the last 2 months (when i bought the car)

i am using a 2006-2 original high dvd which is unmarked (no fingerprints on scratches on it)

will a simple reboot of the nav drive clear my fault (if so , how do i do it)
