PLEASE HELP Mk3 To Mk4

Please HELP i have europian 530d E39 year 06.2001 with original 16:9 with MK3 V17 3-1/30
also have X5 2003 3.0 d but with out 16:9

i very want to do all upgrades like i see all them are only for MK4

can i upgrade my MK3 to V27 3-1/63, or can i generally upgrade MK3 to somthing higher version that i have ?????????

so what i need to fill my dream :rofl: ???:welcome:

I believe v22 will get the MkIII to the most recent version. Above that, there are no updates for the MkIII drive. :goodluck:

3-1/63 is as high as it goes at this time. Any disk V22 or higher will take you to that level.

i once try it from E46 but that car didnt have TV function. then i try it at my car (i have TV) but also comuters shows with out TV function and also wasnt Phone to.

Question if i change MK3 to MK4 and upgrade software all must work ?????:rolleyes:
and MK4 is one ? or can be much versions ? like that i haved from E46 vithout TV and Phone function, or it all can be installed by upgrades ?

Yes that mk4 should work in your 530d E39, you will need to wait a short amount of time for the functions and modules to apper in the menu page, it takes time for the system to recognise and adjust to the new nav computer.

Just go to v28, and it should be OK.

Remember to power down the mk3 correctly when upgrading to the mk4, or you will leave the mk3 in an unstable state, bad news if you are going to sell it on.
