NAV OS update problem

Today I tried to update my friend's 2001 E46 M3 NAV OS to v27. After the v27 CD loaded and done. After reboot I quickly try change the setup perspective view. But there is no such option. Then I check the version is SW 3-1/63. By the way his car is "not" MKIV a DVD ROM NAV drive.
Any ideas guys? :confused:

Your friend has a MKIII nav computer, so the perspective view is not available. The perspective view option is only available on the MKIV DVD-based system.
