MK3 Voice files change?
 

I have read a lot these day's on this forum,
(thanks to many ppl of here like Jochem and many more who did some pioneering for us)


And did manage to get MK4 TXT changed to Dutch (NL) using NavTweak
(overwriting ENGlish with the Dutch module) and renamed the voice files in a subdir of \V_2\ (even for Dutch there was only 1 CSF file is this right??)

Still got few questions :

* I did open the MK3 usw_load file using NavTweak and manually changed some txt strings from the ENG module into dutch translation after that and saving the file do i have to also some CRC things or is saving in navtweak enough ?

* Anyone successfully changed the Spoken voice file's for MK3 use ?
i have read that the rename-trick like the MK4 doesnt work for it...
I got a 2nd problem cause for DUTCH (NL) there isn't any file in the MK3LANG folders...

* for MK4 : What's the difference between language files in
\V_2\Voices\0506 , \V_2\language\0103 , \V_2\language\0105

NavTweak changes CRC for you. You just edit text and save, nothing more.

\V_2\RR\0101\BMWC01S\lng_rel.tbl states what language file is used, on v28 it is Voices\0506

Different nav version in different markets use different voice files
eg:
\V_2\RR\0102\BMWOCN\ uses langBMW/0502/
