Splashscreen Project: I need help
How can I import a color image into the original BMW (solid black with white lines) splashscreen and still retain the color of the imported image using photoshop?
I am attempting to make a custom splashscreen with photoshop and using the original BMW splashscreen as the background. When I put the new color image into the splashscreen, it turns black and white. For those that has done the custom splashscreen, could you give me some pointers? I am attempting to learn this, but I would not be shy to accept any help in putting the splashscreen together. The original splashscreen image has a 256 colour (all of them different shades of grey) palette. Better paste this image into the new colour image file and see if it works. Alternatively, give the original image (before the merger) the same palette you are using in the colour image, correct any resulting colour shift and then merge the two of them.
