So what's wrong with my map disk?

Hi. I've upgraded to v29 today and it all works fine. I'm still running 3-1/63 so I guess I haven't broken anything.

I can't get new maps to load though. The car came with a blue cd 'Digital Road Map - Britain and Ireland 2004/1' and I've bought 'Road Map Europe PROFESSIONAL 06-2 (DVD Part No T1000-10415). I DO have option 609 for professional navigation.

I changed the CD over, but the computer just spat it out again!

So I thought I'd try the Road Map Europe HIGH 06-2 which also won't run.

What am I doing wrong?

I am not sure I understood correctly. Are you trying to run map DVDs?
If you are running 3-1/63 then you have a Mk-III nav unit. A Mk-III does not read DVDs, only CDs.

Mui bueno. It's the maps I can't run. I had no idea the Mk III only works with CDs. Where do we get updates for them?

Also, the MK3 latest firmware is 22.1 which is typically included on the newer MK4 firmware release. However, there is no need for you to ever update again as it will do nothing for you.
