and you're sure there's a DVD in there? also, have you tried disconnecting the battery? i would try holding down the eject button with the key in position 2, position 1, and off. don't know if that makes a difference, but doesn't hurt to try.

lol yes there is a dvd in there since after leaving th car for a bit the dvd will work again.

it seems when i press the eject button there is a light clicking noise every 7 seconds

Definetly sounds jammed mate... You may need to crack into it.

Mine did this exact thing the other day at the dealer. They checked it out and said that it needed to be replaced. I found this on the forum.

Disconnect the DVD from it's power source. I took out the four screws to get to the power souce. There is a tool that the dealer had.

Reconnect the power source to the DVD player and quickly hit the eject button. This will eject the disk.

Once it came out, I was able to put in the new disk and it ejected it just fine after that.

Here is the link that I used...

Hi boxednfresh,

Don't worry I've had this happen to me a couple of times...

Do the following and you will get your DVD out.

Press and hold the eject button, for about 1 minute. Let go, and quickly press eject again. The DVD will come out... Grab it quick!
