HELP - Retrofit OEM Navigation problem!

I done a retrofit OEM navigation from a e46 M3 '01 to e46 330ci '04. All the wires are transfered over and everything gone well but only problem is that the central locking has mess up.

The M3 key now locks and the 330ci and vice versa.

Any idea what is the cause?

Make sure the nav is coded correct for your vehicle (right chassis number etc)
Re-sync the keys to your car - follow the procedure in the owners manual.

GT1 gave an error error "STBWA" for both cars. I was told that this is for the alarm system.

Oh yes... you mean the owners manual tells you how to re-sync the car keys?

My owners manual tells me how to re-sync my keys.
Have you read your manual?

I don't have a copy of the owners manual as I purchase my car used... Would be great if you can post them here. :) Please...

Just realise that my friend did that re-sync key procedure. Infact that is why my m3 key can unlock and lock his 330ci and vice versa.

Then he must have synced your key to his car, and his key to your car.

Re-sync again, making sure you use the correct keys for each car.

Additional into : The M3 comes with factory alarm and the 330ci does not.. Has this got anything to do with it?
