v20.1 OS & 2007.2 map - compatible?

I currently have the v20.1 OS installed on my Mark 4 and just bought the latest 2007.2 maps.

Is the 2007.2 compatible with my old OS? If it is compatible, can I upgrade maps then upgrade OS at a later date or must I upgrade OS first?

v20.1 is very old, I'd update if it was me.
