ETA Problems
 

I have an '03 540i with the MKIV Nav System and using a 2005-2 high DVD MAP. I recently upgraded to the latest OS (i.e., V29.1). Ever since the upgrade, the ETA would go from an estimated time to --:-- at about 1/2 mile away from destination. How can I fix that?

That is standard. Mine does the same at around 200m from the destination. If previous SW versions were different, and you preferred how the previous version worked, then you can always downgrade to a previous SW version.

Thanks KiwiJochen. I am not sure whether or not the ETA feature behaved the same way under the previous OS that was loaded in the system (which incidentally came with the car). I just started noticing with the upgrade. Anyway, it is not too much of an inconvenience, so I'll stick with the latest OS.

i just loaded the new v29 & it did the same thing. this must be a glitch...makes no sense.....
